Therapy grounded in science, delivered with compassion.

When your body becomes unpredictable, other things in life follow. I work with people who carry a variety of medical diagnoses including chronic pain conditions and lives that are affected by physical symptoms that may not have a diagnosis. Therapy focuses on more than just managing symptoms. We also work on building communication skills with providers and creating a life that allows you to feel more in control.

A personalized toolkit,
not a one-size-fits-all treatment.

I work with clients whose lives have been significantly shaped by chronic pain or a medical diagnosis.

The goal of therapy isn't just coping skills. It's feeling more confident, setting and maintaining clear boundaries, and advocating for your own health and well-being. And, I'm here to help you do exactly that.

  • This approach can help you identify and challenge negative thought patterns like "catastrophizing" and "shoulds" that affect your feelings and actions.

  • Medical trauma can impact how you perceive and respond to medical care as well as care providers. Recognizing how you get "stuck" in patterns that don't benefit you through no fault of your own is the first step to changing those patterns.

  • ACT is centered on accepting difficult emotions while committing to healthy actions. It helps you build psychological flexibility to move toward what matters most, even in the presence of pain.

  • A gold-standard, evidence-based treatment for OCD that involves gradual, supported exposure to anxiety-provoking thoughts and situations while resisting compulsive responses.

  • Mindfulness is a collection of tools that help you stay grounded in the present moment, reducing stress and improving emotional regulation — especially useful when your body feels unpredictable.

  • This goal-oriented approach focuses on helping you decide on immediate, actionable steps toward adapting to a new reality, rather than dwelling solely on past difficulties.

  • Communication and boundary setting can be difficult, especially when you feel vulnerable or are a people-pleaser. Learning how to set and reinforce healthy boundaries can strengthen relationships and help you spend more time doing activities that help you heal.

I am in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield. For all other insurance plans, I am an out-of-network provider.

The good news? Many PPO plans offer out-of-network mental health benefits that reimburse a significant portion of session fees. If I am out-of-network with your plan, I provide a superbill, which is a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. I'm happy to walk you through the process if it's new to you.

No Surprises Act

You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining the expected cost of your care. Under the No Surprises Act, healthcare providers must give patients who are uninsured or self-pay an estimate of the bill for medical services before those services are provided. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. For questions or more information, visit cms.gov/nosurprises.
